| Attorney Representation |
 |
Each party may consult in their own individual attorney
while mediating your divorce to guide them, offer advice,
and review the final contract with them. This is recommended
but not required.
The mediator will explain legal concepts and may describe
current law and past cases, however, the mediator will
never focus on an individual party position. There may
be a time where the mediator will require outside council
if the agreement seems so unfair and unbalanced that
it might be unacceptable to a court of law.
