Ms. Toumekian recently joined the Prince Law Group after spending several years engaged in litigation as an advocate in the Juvenile Courts in New Haven and Hartford counties. She has experience working closely with clients through various court proceedings and as a seasoned negotiator. Ms. Toumekian is passionate about working through each case with attention to detail and empathy.
Ms. Toumekian honed her skills in both litigation and client services through her clinical work during law school and sharpening those skills and experience trying cases in the Connecticut Juvenile Courts. She is dedicated to zealously advocating for her clients in court but can also work effectively in a more collaborative setting. Above all, Ms. Toumekian is passionate about working closely with her clients in order to achieve their goals.
She is a graduate of Muhlenberg College where she earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree, double majoring in English and Theatre. During her time at Muhlenberg, she regularly volunteered through the Muhlenberg Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement and spent a summer working through a fellowship at the City of Allentown Office of Community and Economic Development. Ms. Toumekian also served as the Philanthropy Chairwoman of her sorority, Phi Mu Fraternity of Women. Upon graduation from Muhlenberg, Ms. Toumekian headed north to Connecticut to attend law school at Quinnipiac University.
While at Quinnipiac, she spent time working in the Civil Justice Clinic, representing clients in a wide variety of matters. She also served as Vice President of the Public Interest Law Project, Community Service Co-Chair of the Society for Dispute Resolution, and as an active competitor on both the Society for Dispute Resolution competition team and Mock Trial team. She has received awards for both Excellence in Community Service and Excellence in Clinical Work.
Ms. Toumekian is a native of Queens, NY and tries to visit family and friends back in the five boroughs whenever possible. She is licensed in the State of Connecticut, a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, and through appointment currently sits on the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. She currently lives in Hamden and enjoys cooking new recipes, traveling whenever possible, and spending time curled up with a book and her cat, Henry.
